I have been talking about the benefits of this since 2006 and happy it’s getting some exposure.

Strange things, good times.
December 6, 2008
So, where to start with a general update.
The White Orchid Foundation is moving forward, which is great. Everyone is exited by our new corporate support. It’s been a long time since I posted anything, as we have been working hard to get certain things done. It’s hard get the support you need, for such a sensative subject. But with the amount of time I have been putting in recently, things are starting to look very strong for the foundation.
Our Planet Retreats – Well it would seem we are starting to be noticed by some really good people who want to work with us and I am both humbled and appreciative of the people who have stood up and taken notice of our work.
The turtle conservation project has been in a paper recently and I am just waiting on the photo’s of the paper to show everyone.
Jumped out of a plane, for Our Planet, which was great and we were not charged
Good times.
Had a Spa treatment with board members of the foundation, resulting in a larger companies corporate support.
We will see what unfolds, but things are looking good in many ways.
Shark Dive trip planned, Great White’s and some good friends.
Recognized by a UN financed group as top 23 projects as a solution to sustainable tourism development.
Oh, also just been made an adviser and soon to be a director of the SSF Cambodia Foundation.
Dr and Dieing
May 14, 2008
Hello Everyone,
Right now there are some rumors that I died some weeks past, I am very much alive.
Also, apparently I am a Dr. But I am not sure what of ? Maybe those people who blog about me will tell me shortly.
I do not know if I should be flattered or annoyed.
I have had the unfortunate pleasure to received over 7,000 emails from people who hate the humanitarian work I do.
‘why do you help those kids, I need something to do on my holiday’
‘Listen Ryan. If I meet you, I will kill you’
‘There are to many of us for you to stop’
‘Women deserve what happens to them’
Child prostitution and Trafficking is not a joke. Those people are not hurting me, but have an avert hatred of children and or women.
Unfortunately I am someone who does not back down to threats and the latest comments of me dieing are just weak. Hacking my email, that I was impressed with, not happy but impressed.
Thank you for your time and the next post will be on a much better note.

You can tell a lot from an image, developed nations and undeveloped nations and you may also see India is mapped out very well by this. Just an something of interest.
Ryan vs Pelican
March 31, 2008

DRAW
I met this Pelican a few weeks back, I have never been so close to a Pelican and the whole time I was just happy to be near such a creature. I sat down, looking it straight in the eyes… it waddled towards me and we just looked at each other, maybe 30cm away from each-other.
Dith Pran
March 31, 2008

Dith Pran, a photojournalist for The New York Times whose gruesome ordeal in the killing fields of Cambodia was re-created in a 1984 movie that gave him an eminence he tenaciously used to press for his people’s rights, died in New Brunswick, N.J., on Sunday. He was 65 and lived in Woodbridge, N.J.
The cause was pancreatic cancer, which had spread, said his friend Sydney H. Schanberg.
Mr. Dith saw his country descend into a living hell as he scraped and scrambled to survive the barbarous revolutionary regime of the Khmer Rouge from 1975 to 1979, when as many as two million Cambodians – a third of the population – were killed, experts estimate. Mr. Dith survived through nimbleness, guile and sheer desperation.
He had been a journalistic partner of Mr. Schanberg, a Times correspondent assigned to Southeast Asia. He translated, took notes and pictures, and helped Mr. Schanberg maneuver in a fast-changing milieu. With the fall of Phnom Penh in 1975, Mr. Schanberg was forced from the country, and Mr. Dith became a prisoner of the Khmer Rouge, the Cambodian Communists.
